Following a full recovery and successful rehabilitation, 2013 should have seen this as a comeback for the new team on this motorbike. Unfortunately, the severity of the injuries to the chest and lumbar areas in his crash during the spring test in Almeria (Spain) prevented him from making a rapid recovery; in the meantime, therefore, a comeback for Dario Giuseppetti this year is almost totally out of the question.
Here, Martin Bauer, a fellow racer and friendly competitor, came onto the scene. So as to prevent the project, which in recent months had already been gathering momentum, from being terminated early, all the participants arranged for Martin Bauer to be taken on – true to the motto “Swap Martin for Dario”.
